Delhi is the capital city of, India. Known for its history, architecture, culture and diversities, the place is also regarded as the political centre of the country. Sitting on the banks of the Yamuna river, the city attracts a humongous number of tourists every year to explore its rich history and architectural sites. As one of the most crowded cities of India, Delhi, apart from sightseeing and historical significance, exhibits a wide range of markets that are crowded by many locals and tourists.

Visiting this beautiful city was sheer joy and learning experience for me. As a traveller as well as a foodie, I have always wanted to plan a trip to this exquisite and diverse city. When I planned this long-awaited trip to Delhi, after learning so much about the hotels and their historical significance, in theory, I got myself booked in advance to one of the most luxurious hotels in Delhi, the Hyatt Regency. The 5-star accommodation is located in New Delhi’s Ring Road closer to the famous Sarojini Nagar Market, which is like a place of worship for the shopaholics like me.

I had booked a Hyatt King Room, which features both city and garden views. You can also get to choose from other rooms like Twin, Club, Regency and Premier. The sophisticated and elegantly designed rooms feature minibars, LCD TVs with digital programming, DVD player, spacious desk and seating areas. Well-fitted units with private bathrooms that feature stylish bathtubs and hair dryers are the other in-room facilities that the hotel offers.
