Matchbox Style Guide

Matchbox’s logo is a valuable commodity which has been developed to be used in a specific manner. Consistent use of the mark is necessary from both a branding and legal standpoint.

Use

Use of the Matchbox logo is granted on a case by case basis. If you would like to use our logo, please send an email to drew.kim@matchbox369.com with the following information:

  • Beginning and ending dates when the logo will be used (if applicable)
  • How you intend to use the logo (eg. “We’re going to put it on our website — a full color version of the logo on a white background, around 200×200 pixels.”)
  • Which logo configuration you require (if applicable)

We will review your email and get back to you as soon as possible. Please note that on the web, the logo may only link to one of the Matchbox homepage, such as www.matchboxpalmsprings.com, no other website. In any medium, the logo may not be used to promote any organizations other than Matchbox, or to sell or promote any good or service without the express approval of Matchbox.

Logo Configurations

There are three possible configurations of the Matchbox logo. The logo may not be used in any other configuration. PLEASE NOTE: Do not use the images below for publication. Please contact us for a high quality version of the logo.

Logo Color

There are two colors used in the Matchbox logo. Based on the medium in which the logo will be presented, these colors will change.

  • Print (spot color): Red: PANTONE 1805 U. Black: PANTONE Black U
  • Print (CMYK): Red: C:0, M:91, Y:100, K:23. Black: C:0, M:0, Y:0, K:100.
  • Web (RGB): Red: #98392B / R:152, G:57, B:43. Black: #000000 / R:0, G:0, B:0

If colors are not being used, the logo may be presented at 100% black, or 60% black. On a dark background, the logo may only appear in reverse white. PLEASE NOTE: On certain, extremely special occasions, Matchbox may allow individuals to bend these rules, but never break them, and always please ask first.
